The CompCote® H Finish withstands extreme environments
The CompCote® H finish outperforms conventional Type III hardanodic oxides in extremely aggressive environments such as heavy metal halides used in the overhead lighting industry. Two of the salts to which CompCote® H was exposed were Cesium Chloride and Cesium Iodide.

The CompCote® Finish is more wear resistant
The CompCote® finish performs clearly better than conventional anodic oxide finishes in standard wear tests.
Abrasion Resistance Test: Taber Abraser (MIL 8625F, 1000g load, CS-17 wheel). Results reported in weight loss mg/1000 cycles.
